Ms Access and Ebay... How to link the 2 together?
« on: Apr 15, 2010, 3:30pm »

I'm trying to upload listings from Access 2007 to Ebay
does anyone know the easiest and or quickest way
to do this?

It must be possible because turbolister is based on
MS Access

I have looked on the Ebay Developer's website "how to
program the eBay API" but not much joy there.

I wondered if anyone has any ideas where to start.

Regards to all

You need to use the eBay API and write code to create the listings based on the data in your Access database.

Thanks for the reply John

Are there any books PDFs on the subject. I have the book "100 Ebay Hacks" but it is 2005 vintage ...years out of date.

I am pretty good at coding VBA in Access 2007 but have no experience with xml
so I need a place to start and get an overall picture of how it all works

Thanks

There is a version of the API for .NET (it's what I use) which comes with sample applications and code.

It's not the simplest thing in the world to get to grips with though...
