Auction Zealot

I see no references or reviews of Auction Zealot. It had a lot of press and comes up well on Google searches.
Anybody have opinions?
I am growing tired of Auctiva. They are no wearing police badges that are provided by ebay.
Help me make a move, please.

I tried Auction Zealot and found the reason for their use of the word "Zealot" in the title. The developers of this software have a very specific religious agenda that they inflict on their users. You are prevented from using AZ to post auctions to many of the categories under Everything Else (especially the Metaphysical and it's sub-divisions). If you don't mind dealing with religious zealots then the software works. But I found their intolerance grossly egregious and deleted my account.

Thanks for the feedback, addict. Curious--the items they refused to list...are they currently selling on ebay or some other site? Ebay is also pretty strict so I wonder if its also defies ebays "ethics"

The items in question are currently selling on eBay and are not in violation of any of eBay's policies. When I asked them about their policy I was told the items such as those that are commonly found in the Metaphysical sub-categories (Astrology, Crystal Healing, Feng Shui, Goth, Reiki, Runes, Tarot, Wicca, and Psychic, Paranormal) are be offensive to their beliefs. The also informed me that anyone using their software to list in those categories would have their Zealot account deleted immediately with no recourse. This prohibition also, of course, extends to the "Mature Audiences" category.
You can read their "justification" on their website in their own words: Why are Mature Audiences and Metaphysical not allowed?
Their user agreement also states, "You agree not to post information or graphics on this site that is fraudulent, libelous, obscene (as determined by Auction Zealot staff), defamatory, abusive, threatening, pornographic, or damaging in any way, or that infringes on copyrights or trademarks or can be construed as an invasion of privacy. This includes anything that qualifies to be listed within the 'Mature Audiences' or 'Metaphysical' categories."

You know all of those people with "religious agendas" that you are fighting against out there? Don't forget that their goal is to prevent you from going to hell. Think about it. Even if they are misguided, their intentions are good. (And if they are not misguided, you really better be paying attention to them.)

Assuming that you believe in hell and therfore god. Otherwise they are just misguided and are trying to impose their "religious agendas" upon users of their software.

Consider this: A misguided person who genuinely believes they have information that can keep people from suffering eternal torment in hell, if such a person were to withhold this information they would be the most evil despicable person on the face of the earth.
I know people hate Christians for preaching heaven and hell, but Christians would be evil if they didn't.

Adolf Hitler had a great conviction in his beliefs and was also driven to 'share' them, but I think most people would agree that the world would have been a better place if he had just kept them to himself.

I see the problem. You are afraid that Christians are wanting to take over society and then become religious fanatics like the crusaders in medieval Europe and murder everybody that doesn't become a Christian.
I have good news for you, the modern Christian is very different. Christians in medieval times were not allowed to read and teach the Bible, it was written in a different language that only the priests were allowed to handle. Now that Christians can read the Bible in their own language, they can see that murdering people and conquering the world with religion using violence is a very bad thing. Christians don't want to do that anymore, and as long as they have the Bible to teach them this (finally!), they will never want to do that again.
You don't have to be afraid. Today's Christians don't want to murder you. They just want to share a message with you that you are free to accept or reject.

I'm glad to hear this. I've been cowering behind the door everytime the Jehovah's Witnesses ring the door bell. Now that I understand they have a bible as a point of reference NOT to murder people I'm greatly relieved.
Hold on, what about illiterate christians? They aren't going to be able to read the bible and therfore won't know NOT to murder me. Aargh. Now I'm scared again. OMG there goes the door bell and it's the JW's...........
Perhaps AZ are on to something with this moral/religious stance - a software solution that helps you "list on eBay the god way" - it could be whole niche market for them.

No one, not Christian or otherwise, has a right to impose religious beliefs. If I tell you to shut-up while you are prostheletizing me, ebayfriend, then you have a spiritual obligation to stop. Immediately. Why? Because your beliefs are BELIEFS and not fact, and in this country every individual has a right to their own belief or non-belief.
I have very strong beliefs myself and they come from my own studies of numerous religions. You don't want me to strong-arm you, so don't insist it is evil if you don't preach to me. It isn't evil--it's polite.

As for the software: I consider any software that tries to impose a moral standard on someone else to be an abomination.
