Popular eBay auction management service Auctiva suffered an outage at the end of July, reports eCommerce Bytes.

The site was down over the weekend until 10am PST on Sunday. No reason was given for the outage.

Former Auctiva competitor Andale suffered a week-long outage in 2005 which lead to eBay withdrawing third-party checkout from them. Andale was acquired by Vendio in 2006, which along with Auctiva was acquired by Alibaba in 2010.
