I purchased AuctionSentry in 2003 for what was supposed to be a "lifetime" license, expiring in 2099. Now, in 2011, AuctionSentry has declared that its original software has been upgraded, so it is no longer honoring that 96-year licensing agreement, instead telling consumers they must pay a $14.99 annual fee. AS states that the "lifetime" license was only good for the lifetime of the *software*, not MY lifetime. By updating the software they effectively killed it, ending its "life," and now necessitating that
"lifetime" subscribers pay an annual subscription fee.

What a load.

Auction Sentry Ebay Auction Sniper software is a big con. The people that run it are con men. First you pay then it stops working.

The licences were sold and payment was 'for life' and free updates were 'for life' then the thieves took over. Now, they do not update the software and it is useless. Auction Sentry Ebay Auction Sniper software is a complete waste of money. Auction Sentry Ebay Auction Sniper software is a con, do not buy it. The people who run Auction Sentry Ebay Auction Sniper software should be sued. The people that run Auction Sentry Ebay Auction Sniper software offer no help they just say the for life was for the life of the product and not the life of the product has run out.

Anybody who pays money to Auction Sentry Ebay Auction Sniper software will find out eventually that they have been conned. The person that made the software offered a good service. When Auction Sentry Ebay Auction Sniper software was bought out by these con artists the program was no longer supported. If you buyAuction Sentry Ebay Auction Sniper software when Ebay changes something the software will no longer work.

Do NOT buy Auction Sentry Ebay Auction Sniper software.

I paid for this software, doesn't work, doesn't regonise auction numbers, no support - just get ignored.
Basically, they took the money and ran.
Companies like this don't care about bad reviews either.
They'll employ a person just to submit vast amounts of fake reviews to counter balance any negative reviews - just check out the fake reviews on Cnet!

Auction Sentry is not what it used to be. This should be rated, 5 May 2011

Used Auction sentry for over 5 years. It was updated regularly and I rarely lost an auction due to software issues.

That's no longer the case. Since its supposed sale, the software on all of my machines won't update information, or more importantly work at all. I paid for 4 licenses, I liked it that much, but not now. Save your money and look at others listed on this site.

No need to be redundant - I agree with the other reviewers. Used to work great. Descended to zero, couldn't log on, wasn't recognized as a subscriber, updates I was given didn't work, customer service ceased to respond and yes, they should be reported to the better business bureau because at this point, as far as I can tell, their business is a fraud.
