I've reached my breaking point with Auction Wagon!!!, 24 September 2007

Reviewer: Cyrus Veteran

This is just not the software I'm looking for to run my business.

1.) Only one predefined auction template

2.) No obvious user guide, welcome letter, or real technical support to assist in the set up of the software's configuration, or help with daily issues during the learning curve.

3.) No way to directly launch auctions. Every auction requires manager approval even if created by a manager which makes you touch every auction twice.

4.) Remote connectivity is absolutely horrid! The system runs so slowly that at times it felt as if I was on dial up. I would have been better off with GoToMyPC.

5.) The inferface looks cartoonish at best, and is not user firendly. Few of the tasks are properly organized and require several steps to complete after jumping around in the system.

6.) Auction Wagon is not VISTA compatible. I can't stress this enough! Try finding a laptop or computer at any local retailer with anything other than VISTA. If you want to run Auction Wagon, you'd better already have the equipment, or have time to wait for a mail order.

7.) Sketchy communications. My consignor notifications sometimes took up to 6 hours to reach my customers, and none of my auctions launched at their scheduled times.

I'm Shocked! Finally a program that allows me make money., 12 September 2007

Reviewer: peakdixon Junior Member

I accomplished in 12.5 hours eith AuctionWagon what it took me 2 weeks unsuccessfully with Liberty4 Trading Assistants (read review).

Auctionwagon was purchased by one of the largest eBay drop off stores in America. They use the program so it must say something about the software.

Everything works just like is supposed to. I really am shocked...having tried others.

Their HTML/WYSIWG editor is awesome. I cranked out a HTML template, placed AW's HTML Macros where they should go...and viola!!...everything worked.

The interface is all right there in front of you. Their whole focus, and they tell you from the beginning is speed.

Like an assembly line, you take an item in, print off a contract (contracts have ID numbers and Passwords so your customers can log in and monitor sales), and right down the line to submitting to eBay.

I learned everything in one day. Manual is about 50 pages, unlike the resaleworld manual that's 412.

The Manual is so small because they have done most of the work for you. Nothing to say really. Just start listing and making money.

Can't say enough about this company. I don't work for them but the guys that work there are really fast with the replies. Live Chat is really helpful.

What more can I say. Download their 30 day trial and give them a shot. If you have a questions about them or the other programs that I used (my mistakes) contact me.

AuctionWagon Almost Destroyed My Business, 24 May 2007

Reviewer: phoenixjn Junior Member

AuctionWagon is quick, efficient, and exciting, until it stops working and starts filing unpaid item reports against your buyers like a death machine on autopilot with no off button.

It gets even better when AW's tech team can't solve the problem, and there you are with a piece of junk consignment program and an answering machine full of angry buyers wanting to know why they received an unpaid item report.

But that wasn't enough for AW. They called me after I canceled my account, not to apologize for anything, but to see if I'd be interested in buying the program. Jokers.

For two weeks, I was fairly happy and excited about AW. It seemed to work well, although I hated the fact that it did not come with any auction templates except the one boring basic blue. I checked the "file unpaid item report after x days," thinking it would be a handy feature for those who didn't pay. I could never have predicted the horrors that would result.

The problem was AW stopped working altogether for no reason. It would not sync with AW's servers and thus didn't know that items were paid for. So it filed unpaid item reports and couldn't be stopped. It almost destroyed my reputation overnight. Thankfully, I came out of the nightmare without any negative feedback.

No more AuctionWagon for me. The business with relying on the synchronization with AW servers to work is too risky because if it doesn't work, like in my case, you're completely and utterly screwed. How are you going to do any real business if you can't sync with AW?

AuctionWagon is like most other solution providers: they do a lot of things well, but the things they fail on, they fail on miserably. Their only redeeming value is fantastic intuitiveness and efficiency. But how efficient do you want a death machine to be?

To this day AW has done nothing to apologize for the problem or correct it. Are you sure you want to try AW?

THE only solution to consignment store selling., 20 August 2006

Reviewer: addicted-to-eBay Junior Member

I manage a large eBay consignment store in Southern Indiana )eBay id sold_e_bay) and we exclusively use AuctionWagon G2 for our consignor listings. We've been using this software for over 14 months and what is allows us to accomplish is amazing. There are very few things it cannot do and the company is continually adding features and upgrades. We have used a number of other consignment store software tools and found them severely lacking in features and/or functionality. The AuctionWagon Store Manager is an awesome solution to all the problems of managing a consignment store and I very hightly recommend it. I wish I could give it more than just 5 stars.
