Safe and secure, I love it., 17 March 2009

Reviewer: jshraed Junior Member

Bidslammer has all the features you could want in a sniper and is still super easy to use. I especially like the slam-it tool bar. You can find the item you want on ebay, click the slam it button, enter your bid, and you're done. Couldn't be easier! There are also several other useful features like bid groups and importing your watch list.

Security is great as the entire site runs in HTTPS. Once you are logged in every page you visit is secure. The service is reliable and user friendly. I would definitely recommend it to others.

Falling apart, 3 March 2009

Reviewer: Digger Junior Member

I can't recommend Bidslammer at the moment. After several years of reasonably good service, their recent work on the system has caused chaos. Perhaps one day they'll get their act together again, but for now DON'T USE IT.

Their recording of whether or not you've actually won an auction by sniping/slamming is all over the place, with many misses being recorded - AND CHARGED - as wins. Now I can't actually log off the system. I click the log off link and a page appears saying I'm logged off the system, but the next time I go to site, I am already logged in. Some sort of serious security compromise.

The latest that may or may not have something to do with Bidslammer, is that my eBay account has been compromised with someone accessing it and listing items. eBay has sorted that out and I've had to change eBay and email passwords. But given the recent state of the Bidslammer site, I can only presume that it is the probable cause of someone gaining access to my eBay account.

Has anyone else using Bidslammer had a recent account scare on eBay?

Bidslammer Ted W. in customer service., 22 February 2009

Reviewer: lander4545 Junior Member

I have had many missed snipes on Ebay because of numerous software problems at Bidslammer. There customer service rep, Ted W. was very rude in responding to my inquiries!! They always seem to have some sort of excuse as to why the snipe failed other than the fact that there software is weak!! If you go to there web site many times there are apologies on there home page for ANOTHER problem they are having. They have even started a forum section so we can compain to each other and nothing is done about it . Again very poor customer service. Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere!

It works well but your money is not safe, 8 December 2008

Reviewer: MikeP Junior Member

I liked it when it worked and paid in a stack of money in a "double bucks" promotion. Without any notice or explanation they cancelled my $58 credits (paid for with $29 of hard cash) replacing it with $2.50 of credits.

I asked for this to be explained and the amounts reconciled to be told that they would not discuss the matter and they would not reply to any further submissions.

They do not even supply an e-mail address to contact them and I am left out of pocket and ripped off.

The best service by far...with lots of bells and whistles too., 7 September 2007

Reviewer: jewelry4me Pro

I use sniping to buy jewelry, and good deals are scarce for jewelry on eBay so I need to depend on my sniping site. I tried several services (esnipe, bidnapper) and thought they were so-so. I was not really too impressed with the software. I missed bids here and there, especially with bidnapper. Customer service was ok, I guess.

When I tried BidSlammer, I was astounded. The bidding snipe time was precise. Software was very intuitive. I can move fast. They have a thing called Slam-It which is awesome: It sits on my toolbar and I don't even have to GO to the bidslammer site. I just surf eBay, and when I want to place a bid, I click SLAM-IT, and it asks for my bid. I enter it right there, and the dialog closes and then I keep surfing.

I use their bid groups, which can splash bids across lots of items and just win one, and then shut off the other bids.

And customer service? How amazing to get a real response, rather than a "canned" one. Very very professional and responded in about 5 minutes even.

BidSlammer, I love you!!! I would not buy on eBay without you.
