I'VE BEEN AN EBAY POWER SELLER FOR ALMOST 10 YEARS. I RECENTLY SWITCHED FROM MY PC TO A MAC AND NEEDED NEW AUCTION LISTING SOFTWARE. I FEEL LIKE I'VE COME INTO THE 21ST CENTURY...FINALLY! I USED TO USE SPOONFEEDER BUT HATED THAT YOU HAD TO CREATE THE LISTING IN ONE PLACE AND COULDN'T SEE WHAT IT WAS ALL LOOKING LIKE WITHOUT HAVING TO CLICK AND WAIT. GARAGE SALE IS SMOOTH, EASY TO USE, MAKES MY AUCTIONS LOOK VERY UPSCALE AND WELL PUT TOGETHER. WHILE YOUR BUILDING THE LISTING YOU SEE WHAT IT WILL ACTUALLY LOOK LIKE AS AN AUCTION...EVERY STEP. VERY WELL PUT TOGETHER, LOTS OF OPTIONS, VERY COOL.

I GUESS YOU CAN TELL I LIKE IT! YOU CAN DOWNLOAD A DEMO FOR FREE SO GIVE IT A WHIRL. I'M VERY IMPRESSED WITH IT AND IT TAKES A LOT TO IMPRESS ME.

After getting ripped off with iSale, I tried this and it is much, much better., 21 November 2007

As an Ebay seller, time is money and selling programs need to address that aspect. Garage Sale is on the way to doing that. It manages to do a few things well and its only weakness, giving it four rather than five stars, is that there is more to be done, such as keeping the initial input for the sale so that buyers don't send payments for less than the postage and handling charged or billed. There are work arounds, but they take TIME. Let's have some auditing and record keeping so that we can run some reports. Heading in that direction, you'll see The Small Businessman start to purr!

First Impressions, 18 June 2007

My first impressions were reflected in my previous posting, which I am updating with my more recent observations. I am in the demo phase and at first it was very intimidating trying to use and understand the tool bar and many of the options. As I gain experience my opinion is changing for the better. I gave it the five stars because as I become more familiar with editing the power is becoming more evident. I have some issues but they will probably disappear as I use it more.

Nice, easy to use desktop auction management software for Mac users, 25 July 2005

I saw these guys at eBay live 2005.

Ilja and Paul demonstrated the software for me. It was very easy to use, keenly priced, and quite robust!

There is no recurring fee just a one time charge to purchase the software. A great alteranative to the eBay SYI forms, since those are not very Mac friendly.
