LARIS - Best All Inclusive Product We Could Find!, 30 October 2007
Reviewer:
3gorillas
We started to outgrow the Vendio system about this time last year and needed to find a solution that would best fit all of our needs and then our research began. It took us months of reviewing solutions from Channel Advisor, Infopia, Marketworks, Zoovy etc all of which had great systems but nothing was as inclusive as the LARIS system from Sell Center for the price. In fact, it isn't even close for what you get through LARIS and what you have to pay for a la carte with the other multivenue management systems.
We were initially turned off by the bad press of Kyozou (which is the system LARIS runs on) but they seem to be on the right track now with little downtime. The customer service and technical support from Sell Center (LARIS) is unbelievable. We have had our website and ebay templates redesigned by them as well as starting to use them for SEO, consulting etc. The gentlemen of Sell Center truly understand the online retail business and have been a real pleasure to work with. Kyozou as well has improved as they seem to make fewer errors and take care of any issues in a timely fashion. The system has a ton of features and we are still finding new features after using this system for 8 months....
In short, if you are looking to grow your business and have more tasks automated for your company then we highly recommend the LARIS system from Sell Center.

The BEST Auction Consignment Solution, period!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, 7 September 2007
Reviewer:
OnlineAuctions
Not to mention the terrific support you get here, this is by far the MOST COMPREHENSIVE All-in-One solution. After testing a dozen Auction and Consignment products and about 6 months of research, we decided this is the one product that fits our needs, by far. Every Module works in conjunction with the other creating a seamless integrated view of your business Making everyone and every process much more productive. It's ideal for organizations looking to manage their auction and/or their consignment business from one portal, and it's all web based! So you can be even more efficient and not tied to a specific machine or server. If you're growing your Auction or consignment business and need a reliable partner and a fantastic software solution, Laris is the answer. Give it a try and you'll see for yourself. We're glad we did!

GREAT option for high volume sellers, 17 May 2007
Reviewer:

Laris is about as comprehensive as any auction management software I've used - and it seems to have built with the high volume seller in mind. It took me a little getting used to, but after 3 months - I breeze through listings, and it saves me TONS of time. The very best part about this tool is the support team that backs it up. I have NEVER been left hanging. If I have a problem, question, or am just too thick to figure something out - these guys are right there with an answer. A patient answer!

Doing the impossible. With LARIS nothing comes close period., 14 May 2007

After more than a decade working for a multinational corporation I was now an eBay listing assistant with a small company that had 3 employees. This company had a warehouse, a photo studio, Vendio and BusinessVision. It was a nightmare processing up to 100 eBay listings a week.
My spouse and I needed to start our own eBay business so we started our search. We knew that eBay had really changed over the years and it is much harder to make a living from it now than it was 5 years ago. We knew competition was much stiffer, listing fees much higher, marketing more complex and profit margins much slimmer.
To survive in this new environment on the long term we needed a tool that had massive automation and integration of almost all processes involved in this business. We needed a tool that would enable 2 people to do 8 people’s jobs seamlessly and at the same time give us the muscle of a medium to large scale business. We wanted a tool that 2 people could use effectively and also be efficient for a company with 500 employees.
We were looking for a solution that will streamline your auction business by saving time and money while focusing on sales. After 5 weeks of reading reviews and software comparisons we came up with a short list of 5 solutions (Channel Advisor, EZ Lister, Store Manager Pro (G2), Selling Manager Pro & Liberty4). We dropped them all.
Then we saw the Kyozou system which met our specs but also had lots of bad press in the areas of customer support and system stability. Along came LARIS. It was dreams come true. LARIS had the same spec as Kyozou but also had an outstanding technical support track record. Then we started asking a question about system stability when we discovered LARIS uses the same Kyozou platform. We found out that the Kyozou stability issues ended in June 2006, to confirm this we checked again and did not find any new complaint about Kyozou after June 2006 so we immediately jumped onboard LARIS and never looked back since.

LARIS a technical support wonderland, 14 May 2007
Reviewer:
Sir Clive
The support from the LARIS people (Sell-Center) has been outstanding. Those Sell-Center guys are ready to stay with you on the phone for hours to walk you through anything. They are friendly and fast at fixing problems. They even went out of their way to negotiate a deal for us with a third party. These guys have a passion for what they do. The reason they are this good is because they sell on eBay, e-Commerce and also handle consignments, so they understand the challenges we face.
We have never had any problem with support. The system has been stable and rock solid. At first we had some concerns about the reliability of Kyozou which the LARIS platform is based upon but we learnt later that Kyozou had pumped money into this system last year to achieve the current stability. I also knew that the software developers are Europeans, Europeans are known to build solid systems designed for the long haul (like SAP AG). It may have problems at the beginning but on the long run they would bury the competition.
In summary the LARIS Super Management-System is a suite of enterprise-level applications brought together to control the entirety of auction, e-Commerce and brick-and-mortar retail operations. The system has been designed from the ground-up with the participation of auction, e-Commerce and retail business owners as such, the system covers all bases from each stream of operation. It will even integrate with bar code infrastructure.
LARIS will save you time and money by automating many of the processes that are otherwise handled with employee time. From listing products on the auction website, management of those listings and the resulting orders to integrated shipping and copyright-infringement prevention processes, LARIS solution does things impossible elsewhere.
